Our Little Peach Has Arrived!

My daughter, Emmaline Grace, arrived early morning at 12:32am on Friday, July 12th 2013. 7lbs & 20.5 inches. She is just the sweetest darling & my husband and I are so in love with her! Liam and Christian have been such sweet big brothers during this time. It has been a big adjustment with 3 children under the age of 3, but such a blessing... We feel truly grateful. Welcome, Little Miss Emmaline! <3

Welcome, Baby D!

Welcome, little baby D! When family friends inquired about having me photograph their little guy months before he was born, I knew it would be tricky, since my little guy's due date was 10 days earlier than theirs, but I wanted to make it happen for them. We pulled off a mini-shoot and I am so happy I got to meet & photograph, little D. He's so beautiful! My little Christian slept in his swing throughout the shoot and Liam was with Daddy at music class for most of the time, so we made it work! Thanks, S, for keeping Liam entertained towards the end of the visit- he enjoyed having you here! Congrats, S & D on a gorgeous baby boy! <3

This blanket was D's father's baby blanket - I LOVE the sentimentality!

Welcome, Our LIttle Christian!

Welcome to the world, little Christian Michael Finnegan!
We are just so in love with our new baby. Christian was born on May 18th, 2012 at 11:55am. He was 6 lbs. 13 oz & 19.75 inches long. His brother, Liam (21 months old), has welcomed him so lovingly.

Here are photos from his photo shoot at 5 days old. I shot them in our bedroom. Christian was 4 days old for the image I shot (above) for his birth announcement. Just look at that sweet little face... We are feeling very blessed!

brothers!  21 months apart in age

Christian's baby room theme: pond (dragonflies & frogs)

frog sofa chair: pottery barn

just as I did for Liam,  a painted wooden name plate & I painted recycled wood box drawers for baby items

painted ceramic frog prince: I used the colors "buttermilk" & "wasabi" for Christian's room palette. wish I could take credit for knit & crochet blankets purchased from talented artists on Etsy

Welcome Sweet Newborn "G"!

Just look at those juicy, pouty newborn lips! So pretty...I had the pleasure of photographing little "G" here at 7 days old. What a beauty!... Like a little porcelain doll.  She did a wonderful job of staying sleepy for me and what a blessing to have 4 generations of women in the family at the home during G's shoot. Thank you & congratulations, J & V, on your first child!
