Dimitri Turns One!

It was such fun to photograph little "D", who just recently got to his one year milestone! (Happy 1st Birthday, D!) He was so fast on his legs, he had me running backwards many times to catch a shot as he ran towards me..haha. S & D, you sure are on your toes, aren't you? He is absolutely adorable. I want to give those little cheeks a little squish! Thank you S& D for asking me to capture your handsome little man. It was such a treat to see you again. Here are a few shots from his session:

The G Brothers - 1 Year Milestone

Cuteness times two! It was my pleasure to be able to photograph for a long time friend's sweet little twins at their One Year Milestone mark. I am lucky to be able to say that the adorable little pic of K sitting all handsome in the chair (bottom pic) is my little Godson. Love these babies... Christian's First Birthday

Our snuggly little Christian turned 1 year on Saturday May 18th. I can't believe how quickly his first year flew by! He is such a big boy now.... He's walking and climbing up the little stairs to get to the top of his slide....He really doesn't have much fear of trying to do whatever he sees and he wants whatever his brother has, toys or food.  

We had primarily a family party picnic with a kite theme at Hammonasset State Park on his birthday with a few family friends joining us. It was a gorgeous day outside and with just a little more wind, we could have had some more kites flying up in the air. I made way too much cake! I saved the top tier in the freezer so he could have it as his smash cake to eat later, which you'll see in some pics at the bottom. He loved it.

Here are just a few pictures taken (of many) from his party. I plan on using all the pics taken for a birthday album, using iPhoto- very affordable and sleek for anyone looking to make a picture book on their own for a sweet little occasion such as Christian's. I did the same for Liam's 1st birthday too.

A May Day Baby! Happy Birthday, M!

It seems like only a few months ago that I had the pleasure of photographing this little beauty as a newborn. Happy first birthday to to Baby M! Thank you K & S...you have such a beautiful little girl. It was so nice to see you again. Here's some previews from her first birthday session:

Happy 1st Birthday, Jonah!

Happy 1st Birthday to little Jonah! It seems like it wasn't too long ago that I was photographing this sweet little man as a newborn. Oh, the time flies! Here is the handsome birthday boy at his Sleeping Giant Park birthday bash, which was held under the beautiful, tall pine trees of the park. J and K, I'm looking forward to Jonah's pumpkin patch session-thank you!

Liam's Nautical 1st Birthday! (August 7th Family Party)

Happy 1st birthday, to my little Liam! His nautical birthday party was held aboard the Volsunga II. We cruised along the water of the Thimble Islands with the company of our family, lobster rolls and a baby photo match game. Our Capt. Liam loved the company and sure did enjoy a second whirl at his birthday cake!

My Birthday Boy. He is just so sweeeet.

I purchased the ship wheel at Home Goods and then painted wooden letters to create Liam's Captain's wheel. All Aboard!

A perfect squish.

 Delicious.

 This cake was a labor of love. It's a strawberry buttercream chiffon recipe from scratch. I baked 3 of these before getting it to where I wanted it. Normally you'd add a bit of Grand Marnier to the layers between the strawberry puree and buttercream, but since there were kids at the party, I opted out on it. Still tasted light and fresh!

 Flag napkin sails for the lobster rolls....never made it out of the box to decorate. Oh well!

 Cookies made by Aunt Laura. I love the personalized "L" for Liam. Laura, you think of everything - thank you for sending these goodies all the way from California.
