Happy Father's Day 2013!

Swing the raquet, kick the ball,

Read a book, help me when I fall.

Watch the game, help me through,

These are just some of the things you do.

Soothe my cries when dreams are dark,

Push the swing when at the park.

Watch me with pride in your eyes,

As I grow up to touch blue skies.

Many days I sit and wonder,

What I will be like when I am older.

Will I be just like you?

I hope I am , Dad, I really do.

My boys love their Daddy so much & they are his world. Ryan, you are an exceptional Dad. We love you very much and want to remind you again, today, how much we love you and everything you do!

The T Family

I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful T family again. I can't believe how much A has grown! (Has it really been 2 years ago that I photographed him at his 1st birthday milestone? It feels like yesterday...) I am so excited about the new family addition coming in August for your family. :) Congrats A on becoming a big brother soon! Thank you so much. It was wonderful to see everyone again!

H Brothers at the Park

The H brothers are (with exclusion of my biased opinion of my own adorable little boys) the most handsome duo I have had the pleasure to photograph yet. Just look at those dreamy blue eyes...They are so much fun to capture! Little J's 2nd birthday was just approaching, so his mom and dad wanted some updated milestone shots of him, and his brother, O, too, of course! It was a pleasure capturing them playing at the Madison Surf Club, here in town. 

Thank you E and P for coming out to my neck of the woods for a shoot. I am still having fun photographing mini shoots of my existing customers locally, while being close to having another baby. It's not as easy to get down in those low places to shoot right now, but when I'm among long-time friends & awesome customers like you, it makes it pure fun!

A Family Wedding

This year, my brother's family flew in from CA to spend the holidays here in CT with the families. We were so excited to see our nieces together with our little guys. It was so nice to see everyone. Here are just a few shots of the cousins looking festive at Grandpa & Melissa's December wedding:

Someone also enjoyed squishing the cake! (Boy, was the floor a mess around us!)  I love this shot. Even though Christian's face is out of focus, I like the way his hand with the cake evidence is in focus. :)

Daddy Gets Old

So, my dear husband turned 40 on Oct 4th! He didn't want to make a big deal out of it and he specifically didn't want a party, but I wanted to make it a little festive for him, so I chose to decorate in a football theme when his family came over to celebrate for a birthday dinner. 

Liam helped arrange the balloons and both him and Christian watched and approved while I baked his chocolate butter cream birthday cake. I found some old pictures of Ryan playing football back in his scholar athlete days and elementary school years and used them to make place cards. I'm so proud of him. And- of course - that night, I dressed our boys in football shirts for the occasion. :) Do I get a thumbs up?

Don't feel bad for Ryan, though. We sent him on 4 days of vacation with a few of his friends, while I manned the house and kids at home so he could enjoy a birthday trip. Humph! ;) jk

A Beautiful 3rd Birthday Ballerina!

I had the pleasure of photographing this absolutely stunning ballerina-princess for her 3rd birthday milestone photos. Isn't she simply gorgeous? Miss "L" was so sweet and so much fun to work with. Thank you, R, it was wonderful to meet your family!
